Sweet Home Alabama

Tomorrow we leave for a wonderful week with friends and family in Alabama and Florida! We are so excited about our time there! I will post pics when we get back.

FLYING BYE...

This week is flying by, and we are saying a lot of goodbye's.I just finished my last Wednesday working at Shades Mountain. It was our last Staff Meeting today, our last College Group last night, my last day of work on Friday. Wow Wow Wow....We are going out with our good friends Jason & Michelle on Thursday for a goodbye dinner...and Then have our last Sunday at Shades Mountain! Every Goodbye has been filled with lots of sweet prayers to guide us on our way.We feel so loved.
I am excited to go share the love of Jesus with the people of Boston. I am excited to see our new apartment and start decorating and un packing. I am excited to see the town of Gloucester and ride my bike near the beach, I am excited to meet the sweet families I am nannying and babysitting for. I am excited to try to find a church that will suffice in the place of Shades Mountain.....but no people will ever take their place in our hearts.

Sweet Home Alabama

We had our Going away party last night. It was quite a blessing. So many people showed up it was overwhelming. We feel very loved. God has blessed us so much with an amazing Church family here at SMI. We are going to miss them all greatly. Thanks to all who came. We also recieved $735 on a money tree from everyone!!! Can you believe that! God again has pourd out his provision by people who love us. The next two weeks are going to be so bittersweet....saying goodbye is not my favorite thing to do in the world. I know we will be back some Christmas's and such...but still it is definitely not the same. It's been a Sweet Home....for two years. Here is a little video I made of memories with some great people.

A Canadian girl in Alabama's dream come true! SNOW!!! I am so excited for everyone to experience it! Esp poor kids who have never seen it! I hope there is enough to make a snow angel or two :)

Ok so its not much but my heart lifted out of its chest as I looked out my window and saw SNOW! As I speak children are runing around and screaming! I can't wait to see what these crazy Alabamians do with this...they will probably shut down everything and run to the store to stock up on milk and bread :)
I wonder what they would do with this....
